Mark Hamill
Mark was in a car accident after the making of Star Wars in 1977. He had tried to cross 4 lanes of traffic to get to the off ramp, (read: just wait until the next off ramp.) Doctors performed plastic surgery to rebuilding his face resulting in only subtle differences than before. It hasn’t affected his acting career even being cast for scareed roles such as in The Empire Strikes Back.
