The baby-faced actor is known for his good looks and fit frame so when reports came out that he was deemed ‘too fat’ for a role, it certainly came as a surprise. The Canadian heartthrob explained in an interview that he was given the lead role in, The Lovely Bones, but was quickly fired after the director noticed he had gained a whopping 60 pounds…Yes 60 pounds!
Goslin was replaced by Mark Wahlberg. Ryan explained that the incident took place at the worst time of his life, he was quoted as saying, “I was fat and unemployed.”
Proving that miracles do happen, today Ryan is neither fat nor unemployed!
