This design project is just out of this world. Studio Roosegaarde has some amazing folks who put together a glowing bike path with amazingly innovative techniques. This masterpiece is located in Nuenen, Netherlands.

Inspired by the Starry Night of Van Gosh, the road is illuminated by scores of tiny stars made from a special paint that tends to absorb sunlight during the day and then shines at night. So, the path gets its power from the solar power. Thousands of LEDs embedded in the system make the path glow from below getting its power from the solar-array fixed nearby.

This is simply awesome, isn’t it? The guys deserve a pat on their back for the great masterpiece.
