LEONARDA CIANCIULLI was a soap maker with a difference. Leonarda was an italian ‘lady’ who killed 3 women between 1939 and 1940.
She decided to use the remains of her victims to make soap to bathe in. In addition to soap making, she was quite fond of baking and would use dried blood to make tea cakes to serve to her friends. It is quoted that she enjoyed eating them also.
