As a kid, I used to light matches so much that my parents thought that I was pyro. But it’s not what it looks like. Actually, I loved the smell that comes out of the burning match heads.
Now, I think what I used to do what weird and dangerous as well. The burning powder on the match heads emits sulfur dioxide, which irritates the cells in our bodies. I don’t know if it is really bad for you, but one thing is sure: inhaling the smell of thousands of burning match sticks is not good for you.
