Leif Garrett
Anyone under the age of 40, may not know who Leif Garrett is. He is a bit like the Justin Beiber of the 1970’s, the one that preteen girls flocked to and idolized.
He had a very short lived career, but he did earn quite a bit of money during his peak.
In 2001, Garrett filed for bankruptcy because he didn’t have enough money in his account. It was revealed that he only had $350 to his name and couldn’t find work. Garret’s income at the time was a $1,000 per month allowance from his mother.
