Larry King started doing it tough in 1978, after the first of many divorces. King was unemployed and broke. With a debt of $360,000 he was forced to file for bankruptcy.
Lady luck shone of Larry King when he was offered his own show, that later became a piece of American history. He paid off his debts, but he has never seemed to manage a complete state of wealth, probably due to the number of alimony checks he needs to write regularly.
