Who would’ve thought that this laid back guy had such an arduous past. Woody’s father, Charles Harrelson was a contract killer who murdered innocent people in cold blood. in 1968 he walked out on the family which included, Woody, his mother, and two siblings. After getting away with a string of murders due to glitches in the judicial system, Charles was later sentenced to 15 years in prison but was released after serving only 5.
Apparently this little stint in prison didn’t sway Charles away from his life of crime, after his release he murdered a judge and later was given two life sentences. In 2007 he had a heartattack in prison and died.
