Mao Zedong was born into a wealthy family that practiced farming. He was influenced from a young age and later grew up believing in communism. As a leader, he was responsible for the deaths of his own countrymen than any other dictator in history. He was associated with the deaths of approximately 70 million people through famines, murders, harsh working conditions etc.He died at an old age of 82 years in 1976.
