Hitler put Heinrich Himmler in charge of building concentration camps where they enslaved, tortured and killed Jews during the World War II. As a young man, he looked full of life and promise although this was to change later on. He led an organ of the German government known as the SS which was feared for spreading terror. He tried to defect and join the allied powers later on in the war when he realized that German was bound to lose the war but killed himself when he became unsuccessful.
