JENNA TALACKOVA
She was born Walter Talackov and she was the first Canada’s Miss Universe. She came to the limelight in 2012 when she fought and won the legal battle to compete for the Miss Universe Canada. This is after she had been disqualified. Jenna began her transition when she was 14 and completed the reassignment surgery when she was 19. During the 2012 Vancouver Pride Parade, Jenna was named the co-grand marshal for her fight during the Miss Universe pageant. After transitioning, she initially named herself Paige before changing it to Jenna.
