NINA ARSENAULT
She is a Canadian freelance writer, performance artist, and a former sex worker. But don’t get her wrong here. She has two master’s degrees. Arsenault has gone over 60 surgery procedures to transition herself from being a man to female. She openly discusses about her transitional process with the world through her writings. She realized she was a transgender woman in 1996, and by 2007, she had spent more than $150,000 worth of surgery. Coming from a poor background (grew up in a trailer park), Nina financed all her surgeries through working as a sex worker.
