She is a Taiwanese TV personality and model. She was born male and named Zi-hua but she decided to undergo sex reassignment when she was 18. Liu became popular after appearing in a popular parody TV show in Taiwan. It was during this time that her former classmate posted her graduation photo as a male online. This went viral and she received criticisms such that she was outed by the show’s producers. Fortunately, she made it public that she was happy being a woman and that coming out was “more of a help for me than hindrance”.
